AgriInvest
Description:  AgriInvest helps you manage small income declines, and provides support for investments to mitigate risks or improve market income.
 
AgriMarketing Program
Description:  AgriMarketing Program: Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Component provides targeted support to companies for international initiatives. Under this component, funding will be available to help implement international export plans, which include promotional and market development activities.
 
Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program
Description:  The Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (CAAP) (2014-2019) is a five-year, $50.3 million program providing non-repayable contributions for industry-led projects that help the agriculture, agri-food, and agri-based products sector to adapt and remain competitive.
 
Farm Property Class Tax Rate Program
Description:  As a farmland owner in Ontario, you may be eligible to apply for a property tax reduction through the Farm Property Class Tax Rate Program.
 
Greenbelt Fund
Description:  The Fund delivers support to farmers and local food leaders to ensure more of the good things that grow in Ontario are being served and distributed through our public institutions, retail, and foodservice markets. Helping to overcome challenges and support economic growth, the goal is to create systemic change to permanently increase the amount of local food consumed in the province through grants, education, policy, and networking initiatives.

Aboriginal Economic Development Fund
Description:  The Indigenous Economic Development Fund (IEDF) provides grants and financing to Aboriginal businesses and Indigenous communities and organizations. The fund helps promote economic development and improve socio-economic outcomes for Indigenous people.
 
AgriCompetitiveness Program
Description:  The AgriCompetitiveness Program aims to help the agricultural sector to leverage, coordinate and build on existing capacity, enhance safety, adapt to changing commercial and regulatory environments, seize new opportunities, share best practices, and provide mentorship opportunities.
 
AgriMarketing Program
Description:  AgriMarketing Program: Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Component provides targeted support to companies for international initiatives. Under this component, funding will be available to help implement international export plans, which include promotional and market development activities.
 
Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)
Description:  BDC actively supports the development and growth of Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises through its complementary financing, venture capital and consulting services.
 
Canada Small Business Financing Program - Industry Canada
Description:  The program's main objectives are to help new businesses get started and established firms make improvements and expand, to improve access to loans that would not otherwise be available to small businesses, to stimulate economic growth and create jobs.
 
Investment Ready: Certified Site Program
Description:  Through the Investment Ready: Certified Site program, you can benefit from financial and international marketing support, as well as an Investment Ready: Certified Site designation once you complete a set of requirements for an eligible property.
 
Investments in Forest Industry Transformation
Description:  The initial four-year $100-million initiative supported forest industry transformation by accelerating the deployment of highly innovative, first-in-kind technologies at Canadian forest industry facilities. These projects included bioenergy, biomaterials, biochemicals and next-generation building products.
 
Ontario Emerging Technologies Fund - Ontario Capital Growth Corporation
Description:  To leverage private sector capital in clean technology, life sciences and advanced health technologies, digital media and information and communications technology sectors.
 
Starter Company
Description:  Professional mentoring to start and expand a business in Ontario - open to Ontario residents, 18-29, not attending school full time.
 
Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI) - Industry Canada
Description:  Firms, organizations or institutions may apply for investments assistance repayable over the long term in conducting R&D in eligible aerospace and defence technologies.
 
Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) - Industry Canada
Description:  The Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) provides non-repayable contributions in support of large-scale technology demonstration projects in the aerospace, defence, space and security sectors.
 
 

Innovation

Connect to Innovate
Description:  The Connect to Innovate program will invest $500 million by 2021, to bring high-speed Internet to rural and remote communities in Canada. In these communities, challenging geography and smaller populations present barriers to private sector investment in building, operating and maintaining infrastructure.
 
Going Global Innovation
Description:  Going Global Innovation (GGI) is specifically designed to promote and enhance Canada's international innovation efforts. The program supports Canadian researchers who aim to commercialize technologies by pursuing collaborative international research and development (R&D) opportunities through partnerships with key players in foreign markets.
